Anna Maria Cacchione

is a Ph.D. in Linguistics and Didactics of Italian s L2. She is specialized in Acquisitional Linguistics and Learning Technologies. Her research interests range from Mobile Language Learning to Pragmatics and Conversational Analysis, with special focuses on Neuroscience of Language Learning and Language Impairments. Within an international research group, she studied situated mobile language learning  and investigating in particular the issues of crowd-sourcing, lexical growth, autonomy in learning, creativity and social networking. She teaches undergraduates and graduates at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid – Departamento de Filología Italiana -  and holds courses for trainers and teachers on Didactics of Modern Languages in several universities in Italy. She also deals with European funded projects in the sectors of higher education, adult education and VET as project designer, manager and evaluator. She recently has been appointed as independent expert for Horizon2020 by the European Commission and as EPALE (Electronic Platform for Adult Education in Europe) Ambassador by the Erasmus+ Italian Agency INDIRE.
