Brendon Clark

is studio director and senior researcher at the RISE Interactive in Stockholm, a Swedish research institute, and he is an adjunct senior lecturer in design anthropology at Umeå Institute of Design, Umeå University. Within the mixed worlds of design and anthropology, industry and academia, his research interests lie in the exploration of generative exchanges (in contrast to one-way knowledge transfers) between various actors and materials in the different types design & change processes  (stakeholders, researchers, designers, users, etc.), leading to the social shaping of change. Over the last 10 years, Brendon has had a special focus on supporting  language learning outside the classroom setting through social material infrastructuring.
