Alke Martens



is Professor for eLearning and Cognitive Systems at the University of Rostock, Institute of Computer Science. Her research interests include game-based learning, adapation technologies for teaching and training systems, cognitive models of users, ubiquitous and pervasive learning and system engineering. She has several projects (e.g. South Baltic WebLab in the EU's South Baltic Program), is chair and co-chair of several international conferences (e.g. eLBa) and workshops, and is editor-in-chief of a German journal for Instruction in Computerscience.
