Antonella Poggi



Master degree in Computer Engineering, University of Roma "La Sapienza", 2003. 'European Label' PhD in Computer Engineering, in joint work between the databases research group of the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, and the GEMO group at INRIA-Futurs (Paris), 2007. Visiting post-doc at the databases research group of the University of Edinburgh, 2008. Currently, post-doc at the University of Roma “La Sapienza”. Since 2008, she teaches one course on the project of databases, in Computer Science, at the University of Roma “La Sapienza”. Her main research interests are in data integration, XML, ontology management, provenance, incomplete information, web-services, and personal information management. On these topics she has published 23 papers in leading journals and conferences. Since 2004, she played an active part in several European/Italian research projects, namely SEWASIE, Interop, DELOS, QuOnto, WORKPAD, and TOCAI.IT. Since 2008, she is in the programming committee of five international workshops on databases and ontology management. In 2009, she is in the programming committee of ICDE 2009 and KMIS 2009.
