Luca Cattani

adjunct professor in Project planning, monitoring and evaluation at the University of Bologna. He has been a teaching assistant in Political Economy at the University of Bologna and research assistant in the University of Trento. His research interests include the matching of highly qualified labour demand and supply, with a special focus on educational and job requirements. He has defended his PhD dissertation in June 2014, proposing a new occupational classification which allocates job titles into 'graduate' and 'non-graduate' groupings on the basis of the specific knowldege and skills encapsulated in the constituent tasks associated with a particular job. Based in Bologna, as a PhD he has also completed a period as a visiting research student at the Institue for Employment Research of the University of Warwick.
