Ido Iurgel

 

is professor of Media Computing at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences and has got a strong academic background in computer science as well as philosophy. He is active in projects and research related to interactive digital storytelling, digital media innovation – in particular for museums –, artistic computer graphic applications, and the implementation of virtual and physical characters. He is head of the Digital Media Master program at his university. He enjoys interdisciplinary work, combining computer science with humanities and working in close cooperation with design professionals.
