Nikoleta Yiannoutsou

 

 

is a senior researcher and member of the HCI Group of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of the University of Patras in Greece. She holds a Phd in Technology enhanced learning from the University of Athens (2005). Her research and academic positions are with the Educational Technology Lab, University of Athens (1999-today), Department of History- Archaeology and Management of Cultural Heritage University of Peloponnese (2005-2010), University of Patras (2006-today). She has a twelve year experience in Research and Development Projects funded by the European Union, by the Greek General Secretariat for Research and Technology and by the Ministry of Education.  Her research interests include mobile learning, mobile games for museums and cultural heritage sites, use of technology to empower museums and visitors, use of technology in the context of informal education focusing on museums and places of cultural heritage.
