is a full Professor at Lund University Cognitive Science and director of the Educational Technology Group (www.lucs.lu.se/etg/). The group contributes to the development of theories and technologies that inform basic research on human learning while also improving instruction and education in practical settings. The research is characterized by an orientation towards schools’ and preschools’ practices and daily activities together with the use of iterative processes of evaluation and re-design. Central themes include students’ uptake of critical, constructive feedback, students’ motivation and perseverance, and students’ feeling of belongingness. One of the group’s line of research during the past years is how to support preschool children in the domain of early math by means of the pedagogy of learning by teaching.
