Jamie Matu



is an exercise physiologist working within the Carnegie Faculty at Leeds Metropolitan University. He received his BSc degree in Sport and Exercise Science in 2012 and his MSc in Exercise Physiology in 2013 from Leeds Metropolitan University. His research interests lie particularly in carbohydrate metabolism and exercise in extreme environments. In addition Jamie is a keen triathlete and cyclist, attempting to apply theory to practice in his training and competitions.
