Andrea Paoloni



received the 'Doctorate' degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Rome, in 1973.
He has been a Research Fellow of the Fondazione Ugo Bordoni, Rome. His research activity is in the fields of speech processing, with particular emphasis in speaker recognition and in systems evaluation and he has authored approximately 300 papers in these fields.
He has written for the criminal justice system numerous expertise in speaker identification and in authentication of recordings.
He take task responsibility in ESPRIT projects:, as well as in a number of COST projects. I was the Chairman of the COST 250 project.
He was joint lecturer of Electroacoustics and Professor of Phonetic at the Logopedia Course at the Università 'La Sapienza' in Rome, currently is university professor of acoustic phonetics at the University of Tuscia.
He is member of the Acoustical Society of America, of the International Speech Communication Association (ISCA), of the International Association for Forensic Phonetics and Acoustics (IAFPA) and of ENFSI (European Network of Forensic Science Institutes). He is a member College of the PhD “Historical Linguistics and History of Italian Linguistics”.
