Eliza P. Stefanova

is associate professor in information and communication technologies in education at Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, Bulgaria. As lecturer and researcher she works on ICT and their application in education and training, more precisely, she develops teaching methodological units and teaching aids (manuals, test materials, etc. ) for bachelor and master students, as well as for continues teacher training development courses for the general and vocational education and training. In addition to the university courses, she designs and delivers long and short-term ICT courses. In her teaching with student, pre- and in-service teachers, Eliza implements modern technologies and active learning methods. She participates in many national and international project related to education as Share.TEC, TenCompetence, I*Teach. Some of resent projects are in area of ICT support of inquiry-based learning (weSPOT), developing entrepreneurial mind-set in secondary school education (YEDAC) as well as gamification (RAGE).
