Raúl Gormaz

 

is a mathematician with a Ph.D. in applied mathematics from Grenoble-France (1993). He was in charge of the national standardized test of mathematics (SIMCE) in the Ministry of Education in Chile (2005-2010). Since then he has worked as a consultant in evaluation of assessment instruments in mathematics and science. Currently working at the CIAE (Center for Advanced Research in Education - University of Chile) applying data analysis techniques to discover the variables and / or practices most related to the results of the teaching-learning process.
