Michael Sailer



works as a researcher and lecturer at the psychology department at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU). He studied Education and Educational Sciences and Technology at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) in Germany and at University of Twente (UT) in the Netherlands. Michael Sailer’s research interests include gamification, motivation in learning and working contexts, technology enhanced learning and communities of practice. His current research at the Chair of Empirical Education and Educational Psychology is about fostering motivation in manual handling processes via gamification, which is conducted within an interdisciplinary research project together with researchers from the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
