Sarah-Kristin Thiel

 

works a Postdoctoral researcher at the Computer Science Department of the Aarhus University, Denmark. Before, Sarah worked at the Austrian Institute of Technology, where she mainly worked on projects pertaining to e-participation, but also Smart Home applications and personalization when applying gamification. Her doctoral thesis at the University Salzburg investigated the usefulness of gamification in digital public participation applications.  She currently conducts research on the intersection of gamification and creativity as well as how creative process can be supported in blended interaction spaces. Her research interests include (mobile) interactive technologies, gamefulness and technology in society.
