Wolfgang Hochleitner

 

is an assistant lecturer and researcher at the Upper Austria University of Applied Sciences, School of Informatics, Communication and Media in Hagenberg. He is a member and co-founder of the Playful Interactive Environments research group. He started focusing on the design and development of computer games during his Digital Media master’s degree and remained in this field ever since. His focus lies on the research of social, co-located games in public spaces as well personalized, persuasive games and gamification techniques. His PhD at the University of Salzburg also revolves around these topics.
